so it has begun! i finally have started working on the game itself. these past few days have been mainly used on understanding godot, but today i started working on a level. the main idea is that this "level" will be where the player could have a base. a hidden spot, in a forest nearby.
this is a screenshot from godot showcasing the map, empty for now as i am still working on the vegetation,
but the large grey circle on the map will be where a safehouse, and some other buildings will be.
when the player will find the area for the first time, it'll be an abandoned building.
i have yet to decide what sort of building, as i'm kind of leaning towards an abandoned shop, or even a very small abandoned village, with only some houses still standing.
